It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's easy to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to place under any bed.
Our testers appreciated the ease of access provided by the side panel that can be moved up and down with one click of a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them.
The side panel can be lowered by itself however it isn't advised as it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still quite portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It can also be folded up into its travel bag, which is a great option when you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This made it a bit harder to observe your baby from the bed.
